Our Promise to You: Your Privacy Matters

One of our core values at Sköshify™  is transparency, and that includes being open and honest about how we handle your personal information. We believe in operating ethically, and that means treating your data with respect.

This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and importantly, how we keep it safe. We’ve tried our best to use plain language, not confusing legal jargon. If you have any questions after reading this, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at customercare@skoshify.com .

Our Core Privacy Principles:

  • Transparency: We’ll always be clear about what information we collect and why.
  • No Selling Data: We will never sell your personal information to anyone. Period.
  • Sharing with Consent Only: We will never share your personal information with other companies or individuals without your explicit permission, unless required by law.
  • Minimal Collection: We only collect information that’s necessary for the reasons we tell you about. We don’t keep information longer than we need it for the purpose it was collected.

What Information Do We Collect?

We collect information in a couple of ways:

  1. Information You Share With Us:
  • Email Address: If you sign up for our email list, we’ll collect your email address to send you updates, news about our products, special deals, and helpful information related to health and wellness.
  • Communications: If you contact us directly (e.g., with a question), we may keep a record of that conversation to help you and improve our services.
  1. Information Collected for Analytics:
  • Like most websites, we use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use our site. This helps us learn what content is popular, how people find us, and how we can make our website better. This information is generally anonymous and aggregated, meaning it doesn’t identify you personally. It might include things like your browser type, general location (like your city, not your specific address), and the pages you visit on our site.
  1. Information Related to Purchases (via Amazon):
  • When you purchase our products, you do so through Amazon. Amazon has its own privacy policy that governs how they collect and use your information for order processing, payment, and shipping. We receive some information from Amazon related to your order (like what you bought and your general location for shipping) so we can track sales and manage our inventory, but we do not receive your payment details or sensitive personal information directly from Amazon for orders they fulfill.

How Do We Use Your Information?

We use the information we collect for a few specific purposes:

  • To Send You Emails: If you’ve joined our email list, we’ll use your email address to send you the communications you signed up for. You can unsubscribe at any time (see “Your Choices” below).
  • To Improve Our Website and Services: Analytics help us understand what’s working and what’s not, so we can make your experience better.
  • To Understand Our Customers: Analyzing trends helps us understand our customer base better, which allows us to tailor our products and operations more effectively.
  • To Communicate With You: If you reach out to us, we’ll use your information to respond to your inquiries.

How We Share Your Information (and How We Don’t!)

This is really important to us:

  • We DO NOT Sell or Otherwise Share Your Personal Information: We want to be absolutely clear: your personal information is not for sale.
  • Service Providers: We may use trusted third-party service providers to help us operate our business (like email marketing platforms to send our newsletters). These providers are only given the information they need to perform their specific services and are contractually obligated to keep your information confidential and secure. They are not permitted to use your information for any other purpose.
  • Amazon: As mentioned, when you buy our products, Amazon processes your order and payment. We recommend reviewing Amazon’s privacy policy to understand how they handle your data. We may receive aggregated or anonymized data from Amazon for sales analysis.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect and defend our rights or property, or in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of the site or the public.

Your Choices and Control Over Your Information

You have control over your information:

  • Email Opt-Out: You can opt-out of receiving promotional emails from us at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any email we send you.
  • Accessing or Correcting Your Information: If you have an account with us (e.g., on our website, if we offer that feature in the future) you may be able to review and update your account information. For information provided for our email list, you can typically update your preferences or unsubscribe. If you need help, please contact us.
  • Analytics: You can often control cookie settings in your browser to limit the data collected by analytics tools.

Data Security

We take all reasonable steps to protect the information we collect from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. This means that we use leading encryption and security protocols to keep your data and information safe.  However, please remember that no internet transmission is ever completely secure or error-free. While Amazon handles the security of your payment and order information for purchases, we do our part to protect any information we manage directly with the leading security services and protocols (e.g. encryption).

Children’s Privacy

Our website and products are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the relevant age in your jurisdiction). If we learn we have collected personal information from a child without parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time as our business evolves or if legal requirements change. If we make significant changes, we’ll post the updated policy on our website and note the date of the last revision. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
